How Hyppe deletes your data on request β including data received through a business's WhatsApp number. This page is the instructions endpoint for Meta platform reviewers and for anyone exercising their erasure rights.
When you message a business's WhatsApp number that is connected to Hyppe (Pro plan), Meta delivers your message text, your phone number, and your WhatsApp display name to Hyppe so the business's AI agent can reply and capture your inquiry as a lead. Voice messages are transcribed to text for the same purpose; the transcript is handled like message text and the audio is not stored. Photos are screened for inappropriate content, used only to answer your message, and not stored after the reply. Message transport runs through Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) β Meta's own terms and privacy policy also apply.
Message history is stored only to operate the channel. When the business disconnects its own WhatsApp number, the connection records and that channel's message history are deleted. Shared Hyppe demo numbers keep their history when reassigned. Technical webhook logs are kept for up to 90 days for reliability and then purged automatically. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Message content is never used to train AI models.
Account owners can delete their account and all associated data at any time from the dashboard under Settings β Data; deletion takes effect immediately with permanent removal after a 7-day restore window. If you messaged a business through WhatsApp and want your messages or lead record deleted, email support@hyppe.chat stating the WhatsApp number you wrote from and what should be deleted. We verify control of the number, redact the matching records, and confirm back within one month. Marketing emails from Hyppe itself each carry a deletion link that works without contacting us.
